CultJia is a website for renting and buying pieces from Wen’s closet in Boston. Wen is the seller: each rental or sale is between you and her. CultJia, a service of Bonfiyah, Inc., runs the website that takes your offer to her.

Your account

You sign in with your mobile number and a code we text to it, so keep your phone secure. You’re responsible for offers sent from your account. Please use one account per person, with your real name and a delivery address you can receive at.

Offers

You offer a price to rent a piece for your dates or to buy it by a date you need it. Your offer lasts for the time you choose, from 1 to 24 hours. Wen can accept or decline any offer, including one at the listed price. While an offer is waiting, you can withdraw it from Your offers.

Payment

Cards are handled by Stripe, and payments go to Wen’s own Stripe account; CultJia never sees your card number. When you send an offer, your card is authorized for the offer plus any sales tax. That is a hold, not a charge.

If Wen accepts with no shipping charge, the hold is charged.
If she names a shipping price, you see it before anything is charged. Approve it within 24 hours and the offer and shipping are charged together. If you pass or don’t answer in time, the offer closes and the hold is released.
If she declines, the offer expires, or you withdraw it, the hold is released. Your bank may take a few days to remove it from your statement.

Sales tax is added where Wen is registered to collect it, and shown before you send an offer.

Rentals

A rental covers the dates in your offer. Please return the piece by your return date in the condition you received it, following the return details Wen gives you. Her closet rules, as she lists them:

Fit refunds must be agreed with her beforehand.
Fit refunds are 50%, and same day only.
No spray tan or heavy perfume, please.

Purchases

Pieces are sold as described in their listing. Sales are final unless Wen agrees otherwise.

Texts

We text your number your sign-in codes and updates on your offers: when Wen answers, when shipping needs your approval, and when an offer closes. Expect a few texts per offer. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts, or HELP for help. You can also turn off offer texts under Your offers. Carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
